MoblinVoipPhone is basically a simple but feature rich Softphone for making VoIP calls.
A softphone is a piece of software that simulates the functionality of a phone on a computer it takes phone calls to other computers or phones. It can also receive calls from other computers or phones.
MoblinVoipPhone will be a rich and attractive visual interface for the core sip stack (which will be a open source ) . A user will get an User interface which will be easy to use with finger tip on MID.

There will be various visual features while operation like Glossy and shiny look, Phone book, Setting tab, Call history will slide in pane (i.e. it will hide and show by sliding behind the main interface) with a click of a button.
There will be audible effects of clicking buttons incoming call etc
The phone can stay in system tray in minimized mode still active for receiving Incoming call.
Others features are a good phone book, call history, volume controller for microphone and speaker, use of system keyboard for inputing sip address in alphanumeric form etc.
